In the United States, 260 hotels are recognized by Historic Hotels of America, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Each of these classic lodgings has witnessed a great deal of history, and each has held true to its historic roots and unique sense of place. Lawrence Horwitz, Executive Director of Historic Hotels of America, has narrowed down the field to just 20 nominees for Best Historic Hotel. Now it’s your turn to vote. Cast your ballot once per day in this category until voting ends on Monday, May 11 at noon ET.
Located conveniently in downtown Baltimore, the Lord Baltimore Hotel was built in 1928 and has since been visited by a host of luminaries, including Martin Luther King, Jr. The 23-floor, 440-room hotel underwent a multi-million dollar head-to-toe renovation in 2013, breathing new life into the largest hotel ever built in the state of Maryland.

Keeping this amazing hotel in the top 10 would be great recognition for the hotel and much deserved positive publicity for Baltimore!
