Planning a large wedding celebration? Want to make sure all of your guests know how much both of you appreciate them sharing this very special time? As the host/hostess of any party or event, there never seems to be enough time to share quality moments with every wedding guest. Read on for a few ideas on how to make your wedding more intimate for your guests to feel welcome and appreciated.

Host Pre & Post Wedding Events

Plan plenty of smaller events before and after your big day. These can include the wedding shower, rehearsal dinner, and bachelor/bachelorette parties, attendant’s luncheon, after party and brunch the next day. These get-togethers will give you more one-on-one time with those you want to share this stage in your life with.

Personalize An Element

This might require some creativity before the wedding day, but your wedding guests will appreciate the element of personalization. Options are – include a slideshow of photos that include a moment that each of your guests spent with you and/or your spouse. Or ask for a song request on your response card. Then have your band or DJ give them a shout out when it plays at your wedding. If you want to take personalizing a step further, you could write a heartfelt card to each couple/family and have them pick it up as they enter your ceremony or reception, attach it to their place card or have it presented nicely at their table.
