Resell your dress – with so many online options, like Ebay, Tradesy, and many more (hint: Google resell wedding dress and see what you find), reselling your dress is a viable option from the comfort of your own home. If you’re short on space and need to get your dress to another location, there are many bridal consignment shops that will handle the sales process for you for a commission.
Donate your dress – Think outside the box and donate your dress to a shop like Cherie Amour (featured in the Fall/Winter 2015 issue of Wedding411 Magazine) that offers low cost dresses to women and gives the profits back to charity.
Save your dress – Your future daughter may thank you, whether when she’s young, or by wearing it in her own wedding.
Preserve your dress – Box it, frame it, bag it – preservation techniques abound. For a keepsake you can enjoy daily, consider using a small piece of your gown (or the leftover pieces form alterations) to create a one of a kind piece of jewelry.
Trash your dress – honestly, not our favorite idea…but some people love it.
Refashion Your Dress – A skilled seamstress can take your dress and make it into something completely new.
