Cream of the Crop Review of Film
A young Ag Science high school teacher, Jodi Stafford (Brittany Goodwin), struggles to keep her family farm from falling into the hands of real estate agents. Meanwhile, she meets Mike Jared (played by Ben Davies), an up-and-coming strategic analyst for a company that’s been selling nearby farmland. As their two worlds collide, their relationship will be put to the ultimate test. The film includes powerful themes of perseverance and forgiveness while navigating the choices between right and wrong. Directed and produced by Douglas B. Maddox, Cream of the Crop is an action-packed romantic drama that has something guaranteed to please the whole family.
BRITTANY GOODWIN is a celebrated writer, director, voice and screen actress based in Nashville, TN.
