Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, as Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees is near! The East Coast’s largest holiday extravaganza, also known as Santa’s theme park, will return to the Maryland State Fairgrounds. Friday, November 24 to Sunday, November 26. Fairyland forests, a gingerbread town, a toy train garden, shopping, holiday activities and entertainment for all ages!

Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees is a three-day holiday-themed festival held to raise funds for research, treatment, education and community programs at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. The focal point of the event is the holiday décor which features more than 600 spectacular holiday trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses created by local designers, artists, organizations and community groups. Additional attractions include live holiday entertainment, more than 100 season merchants, children’s craft and game area, magical carousel, “reindeer” pony rides and, of course, Santa!

Proceeds from Festival of Trees directly benefit Kennedy Krieger, appropriately marking the beginning of the holiday season by giving the gift of hope to the thousands of children treated at the Institute.
