Absolutely amazing!! Just thinking about the food is great! The chef ??? is great! Such an amazing man. Great ambience and the staff are so sweet. We go every special occasion and need to go more!
Been coming here for about 7 years. The food, the ambiance, and the service keep us coming back. In fact, due to the food and location, we even had our wedding reception in their private room back in 2013. Outstanding food and superior customer service make this a gem in an already great neighborhood. My wife and I have never been disappointed coming here, and the brunch rollout yesterday was more of the same. Just excellent!
Chef Carlo and his staff will make you feel at home. La Tavola holds a special place in our hearts and we are certain you will find it special too. Highly recommended!
My husband and I did date night or afternoon at La Tavola today and we’ve meant to stop by many times in the past but we did today Geri was our server. Today we had flounder that was a fish of the day it was amazing I have never had a wine sauce so good as that Capers and everything else made it fantastic my husband had the pasta special and he absolutely loved it with stuffed Rockfish it was fantastic everything is cooked perfectly!!!! We also had an amazing starter which was eggplant rolls that was stuffed they were finally cut it was fantastic everything was so amazing we thank you guys for a great date night or afternoon LOL we can’t wait till our next visit!!
It was simply incredible!! The pasta delicious, the place and the service excellent and the grand finale, the tiramisu was just great!! I have never tried one like this before!!! Highly recommended!! Many thanks to La Tavola for making my husband birthday celebration just wonderful!!

If you are an Italian food lover, anything you might choose here is phenomenal, light, and made completely in house using local ingredients. Very sincere staff and an outstanding chef. Wonderful fare and genuine venue. Learned to love one bite at a time.
You know it’s going to be good when you hear that “Chef Carlo got his start at the age of 10 in his home city of Venice…” It doesn’t get more authentic than that. This was an excellent spot to visit on our first visit to Baltimore. The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. The appetizers and entrees were amazing. The grand finale was the cannoli and cheesecake we had for dessert. They are the best. I was hard to sell on trying the cannoli because I thought I had had the best in another east coast city that starts with a “B”, but I’m glad I did. It was unlike any I’ve had and I welcomed the difference. The cheesecake was like nothing I have ever had. I’m wondering if I can sweet talk Chef Carlo into sending me that recipe so I can share it with our family in Oklahoma! This will definitely be one of our first stops when we return to Baltimore!
This place was exceptional…a hidden gem in Baltimores Little Italy neighborhood just a few blocks away from the ultra touristy inner harbor. Our server, Keith, was knowledgeable and attentive, walking us through the menu like a captivating short story. The food is all fresh and from scratch and you could taste it. The homemade pasta is just plain perfect and the sauces have such delicate flavor you want to to eat every last drop. Seafood was all fresh and perfectly cooked to boot. Can’t wait to return as we didn’t have room for dessert this time around!
It seems unassuming from the street, but this little ristorante offers a perfect and true Italian dining experience. The pasta is all hand made by a lovely chef who has been cooking since he was ten. We had the Fettucini ala Romana, which was somehow delicate and sumptuous at the same time, as well as a heavenly Saltimboca that the chef graciously made with chicken instead of veal at my request. Our server was charming, knowledgeable, and present exactly when we needed him. It’s a really lovely place and I recommend it highly.
