Imagine an outdoor ceremony in our beautiful gardens and a reception inside our historic carriage house following the ceremony! All for your intimate group of 25 people or fewer.

The Carriage House was built in the early 1800s as the barn and stables for a large private estate in Howard County, Maryland. Inside the building, you’ll find the original stone walls, exposed wooden beams, and grand fireplaces. Outside, the tree-lined grounds, colorful gardens, soothing waterfall, and landscaped brick patio add to its historic charm.

We think the Carriage House will impress your guests and add a touch of enchantment to your special day!

Reviews

The staff/volunteer workers at the Carriage House are extremely friendly and kind! Kathy was especially helpful; she always got back to me the same day whenever I texted her a question. The venue has a lot to offer, including indoor and outdoor space, a smaller indoor space for a possible cocktail hour or indoor ceremony if the weather is bad, and tables and chairs. It is also wheelchair accessible. It has gorgeous lofted ceilings and stone walls. I love the character and uniqueness! If you are looking to have a wedding of around 80 people or less with a lot of flexibility, I would highly recommend the Carriage House!
