Water's Edge Events Center - Sales & Marketing Associate
Our Sales and Marketing Associate develops leads and fields event and banquet inquiries. They schedule appointments and meet with prospective clients, giving them guided tours. The associate drafts proposals and contracts and coordinates details of the event with the banquet staff. They attend networking events, manage social media marketing, produce monthly management reports, and assist with developing marketing ideas, promotions, and materials. Candidates must be able to develop and support a full range of services including social and corporate events such as: weddings, galas, government functions, corporate conference and meetings, and off-premise events of all types. They provide significant support for management reporting. Availability to work occasional nights and weekends is required.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is preferred. One year’s experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry is preferred. Candidates should possess advanced media skills, strong customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.
