We had about 85 guests at our wedding, and this was absolutely perfect. I must admit that I hesitated to book at first because I had dreamed of a DC wedding. But, alas, the pains of being a bride on a budget. Ultimately, the manor house is a winner and I have no regrets. You're not going to find a better value for a venue of this quality. There's a bridal suite for the ladies (it's beautiful) and a room for the guys to get ready. We were able to have the ceremony outside under an archway that needed very little decoration (simple tulle draping) in a pleasant garden area that also worked well for pictures. Our cocktail hour and reception were inside the house where we had the entire main level open. There are two front rooms for the bar, guestbook/photobooth, escort cards, etc. The back area is where we had the lunch buffet style. People seemed to really enjoy hanging out on the front porch as well. The only decor we put out were some photos and a few vases with flowers. The house didn't need anything, it's lovely as-is. Side note: if you decide to have your wedding during the day slot, I recommend an after-party a block away at the Ram's Head Tavern to keep the good times rolling.
