Kurtz’s Beach

My husband and I can't thank Kurtz's Beach and staff enough! We were absolutely delighted with the First Class treatment we received from the minute we arrived Thursday for rehearsal, Friday for the wedding, and up to the moment we departed for the evening! Ashley and John, along with their staff have Kurtz's Beach services down to a science, and it was perfect in every way. A special thank you goes to our wonderful coordinator, Debbie who was by our side step-by-step. She was absolutely as professional and friendly as possible. No matter what we needed, Debbie was on top of it, whether we knew we needed it or not! HAHA! She kept all of us on task, which I know isn't always easy, to help the evening run on schedule, as best as possible. Despite the size of our group, she was completely delightful at all times, as was Lyle! We loved how open and friendly he was, and greeted us and our guests with such a broad smile and willingness to assist it just made the evening all the better!

The weather was perfect, the room was beautiful, the food was delicious and I will sing praise to everyone and anyone who is looking for a venue for any occasion! I also want to personally thank Ashley as well. From our first meeting, to all the emails back and forth for various reasons, she continued to be helpful, patient, informative, and just all-around awesome! Courtney is our youngest to marry, however, I hope we get to use your services again someday…. our grandchildren are growing fast… who knows!! LOL, You're the best! You have so much to be proud of with your lovely venue, and I hope to encourage others to seek out your services as I know they will forever be happy! Again, thank you for everything!

Thanks to Kurtz’s Beach, our wedding was perfectly magical! I mostly communicated with John and Ashley - both are awesome, and respond very quickly to any questions. The other team members were very professional, friendly, and happy to help us every step during the planning and day of our wedding.

Our reception was in the Bay Room which is a beautiful waterfront location. I received so many compliments from our guests on the food and the venue.

So grateful we chose Kurtz’s Beach!

I cannot express how amazing my wedding experience was at Kurtz’s Beach. From the day I picked the venue I could see how great their customer service was. Every email I sent was responded to promptly and they accommodated everything that I asked for. After several meetings and emails to plan every last detail, my big day finally came and it was the best day ever. They coordinated with all of my vendors so they knew the day of timeline and everything went on without a hitch. My day of planner was absolutely amazing and kept everything on schedule. My wedding was in August and I still have people raving about how great the food was and how nice a day it turned out to be. I can’t begin to thank them enough for how special they made my day! I toured several other venues In the area before choosing Kurtz’s and I would pick them again in a heartbeat! The staff is amazing and I can’t say that enough!!!

Kurtz’s Beach is an amazing venue for a multitude of special occasions & events! We were lucky enough to have our Wedding at Kurtz’s this past August & it was absolutely magical. The venue, the atmosphere, the staff, the food & everything in between was top notch & made our Wedding day that much more special! John, Ashley & their team made sure everything was perfect & went according to plan. You can tell they have been in the business for a very long time & are extremely accommodating! Everyone had such a great time & loved celebrating our big day at Kurtz’s Beach. They are the best at what they do. Hands down!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Kurtz's Beach in July and our reception was seriously so perfect at this venue- Kurtz's Beach is beyond AMAZING! The entire staff is friendly, accommodating, and caring; I felt like I was part of the family after planning our reception with Ashley and John. Ashley was always quick to respond to answer any questions I had and flexible if any changes needed to be made. John made a fantastic buffet menu that our friends and family still make comments about saying it was "the best wedding meal they've ever had." Our day-of-coordinators, Deb and Lyle, were incredible with helping our guests and making sure everything ran smoothly. All of these things, combined with the beautiful location (lots of parking too!), spacious rooms, and affordable cost, made our wedding day so special. You can't go wrong with choosing Kurtz's Beach for your wedding venue!

Family/welcoming atmosphere is what made me fall in love with this Venue. The beautiful water views from the bay room and wedding ceremony areas were added bonuses! The staff was super helpful and accommodating when it started to rain an hour before our wedding time. They were able to move everything indoors without being able to tell it was a last-minute decision. So glad we went with Kurtz for our wedding venue and I recommend it every chance I get!

Had our wedding at Kurtz's Beach 9/24/16... Everything went without a hitch! ! Absolutely beautiful!!!! Ashley and I talked nearly every week / Day toward the end since I was a worrywart but always did it willingly and with a smile!! John & ALL of the staff Are phenomenal !! Food was awesome, Can't say enough! ! My family and friends are still talking about how beautiful this venue is! I'd get married over and over again (to the same man of course)just for the wonderful experience!! Instead, I think I'll just try to think of another large party to have there! !! I just had my wedding at Kurtz's on September 2. It was perfect !! Everyone there is just Amazing from Mr. John to Ashley to Donna to Courtney to Tim and the entire staff. The food was terrific, everyone was still talking about it at breakfast the next day. Everyone also said they had checked out the venue online and the pictures were gorgeous but still didn't do it justice. It was a picture-perfect evening and I was so relaxed that night and since I booked it - knowing that the people taking care of me were not only tops in their field BUT they actually care about every person that steps into their venue. They make you and all your guests feel like "Family" My wedding was a day I will never forget and a lot of that is due to Kurtz's and their fine staff - Thank you

AMAZING! I have endless positive things to say about Kurtz's. the staff made our wedding day perfect. they took every bit of stress and worry out of the day and pulled everything together without a single hiccup, they truly made my wife and I feel like our wedding was the most important thing in the world to them! Ashley, Lynn, Donna & John are Godsends to the wedding world!! plus, we had ENDLESS compliments about the beauty of the venue which is definitely an understatement! the food was delicious and the bartenders & wait staff were so polite and personable. if we had to do it over 100 times, we would choose Kurtz's every single time! they truly helped make our day as special as it was. we could never thank them enough!!

So glad Kurtz's was chosen to hold our daughter's June 3 wedding. Every step along the way was handled with professionalism. John & Ashley answered every question and made good suggestions. Lynn was in a word Awesome! She is caring, knowledgeable, professional and we knew we were in good hands. Courtney was fabulous at dealing with the wedding party especially the junior bridesmaid!!! The ceremony started on time and all went well. I cant say enough about these ladies and John and Ashley! Someone always has a wedding horror story but I couldn't find one thing that went wrong the entire day!! Thank you all!

Our wedding was perfect and if there were any hiccups, we didn't know about it. From the moment we engaged with Ashley, she was welcoming, responsive, professional, organized, thoughtful and truly made this experience for us stress-free and seamless. We immediately connected with John during our final consult and he was very accommodating for our guests that had dietary requirements. The food turned out fantastic and we received so many compliments on the food, the venue, and the staff. Our guests were delighted and had a fantastic time. Our wedding day coordinator, Lynn, was on top of everything and she kept us to our schedule with ease and made sure we were having a great time! Our ceremony next to the Bay was the perfect backdrop and the setting was so intimate and special. The convenience of having our reception in the same space too was key! Our wedding was more perfect then we could've ever imagined. We would highly recommend Kurtz's as a perfect place to have a wedding.

My husband and I just got married at Kurtz's on September 29th. It was absolutely the best day of our entire lives thanks to the beautiful venue location as well as the wonderful staff. The staff treats you like you are family. Ashley was amazing throughout the entire process and was quick to respond to any emails. Lynn (wedding day coordinator) treated me as if I was her own daughter. Everything went perfectly on my wedding day thanks to them. As I arrived at the venue on my wedding day I felt relaxed and was filled with excitement for the evening. I never for one second felt stressed due to the fantastic staff and knowing that they would have everything taken care of. The staff members were ALL polite, personable, and well organized. The food was fantastic and my guests could not stop raving about the views of the Chesapeake Bay as well as the decor of the venue. I would not change one single thing about my wedding day and I cannot thank Kurtz's beach enough for making my wedding everything I dreamed of and more.

Our reception at Kurtz's Beach was simply the best! Everyone was super accommodating from changing the preset menu all the way from hand-selecting gold candles to place at each guest table. Ashley, Jon, and Lynn were fantastic. They felt like family and were determined to make our special day perfect. I can't say thank you enough to them. We picked Kurtz's for its quaint location with great views of the water. We wanted the freedom of being able to move in and outside of the venue depending on the fall weather. This worked out perfectly for us! Not only was the water beautiful, but the landscape around Kurtz's was as well. Overall, we had a 5-star experience with Kurtz's and would highly recommend them.

My husband Rick and I got married akurtz's Beach last August. John and Ashley were there in every step since the very beginning. The price was very reasonable, you won't find a better service anywhere. A friend of mine told me to be patient and to think that sometimes not everything can be the way I wanted. Well, let me tell you, everything went the way I wanted !!!! We had a beautiful waterfront wedding. We really loved it, the service and the organization were first class. Our guests enjoyed and some of them described our wedding like the best one they were into! Thank you so much, John, Ashley, also Lynn and Courtney for everything. Do not look anywhere else, believe me, you won't find a better place!

We got married on 9/8/18 at Kurtz’s Beach and the entire experience from the moment we dropped in and received an impromptu tour to the moment we walked away married couldn’t have been better! John and Ashley were very professional, available, and cared about making sure that all of our wishes for the day became reality. Lyle and Deb were the folks who made sure the event ran smoothly and no stone was left unturned. This was scheduled to be an outdoor wedding and it rained, so they worked their magic and we had an alternate setting under cover that was intimate and just as special as originally planned. This is a beautiful venue. It offers both family-friendly or adult-only options. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. We highly recommend Kurtz’s for any function!

Kurtz's Beach is the most amazing venue! The food is delicious. The place is absolutely stunning. I work primarily with Ashley and John during the planning process. They are both great and so knowledgeable. They were very patient and very quick to respond to any and all questions and concerns. The week of the wedding, which I got married on May 19, 2018, I worked closely with Lynn and I believe the other lady's name was Courtney. Again, both are great! They took care of everything! And if I had any questions, no matter the time of day (or night), Lynn was there. For the reception, they made sure everyone was taking care of. If there were any allergies from our guests, they would accommodate and made sure the person was able to enjoy everything even with food and drinks. The cottages were beautiful as well! Megan was there with us ladies the whole time and made sure we kept to the schedule and we were happy. I just can't say enough about this place and everyone who works there. I could go on and on! They even kept helping me with my bussel pretty much the whole night, which broke because my lovely new husband stepped on the back of the dress and broke the button lol My husband and I are always saying how we want an excuse to do another event there!
