Eye-Catching Fall Wedding Color Combos

If you want to make your wedding stand out, choosing a unique color palette is a great place to start. Autumn is the perfect season for experimenting with different colors, and there are all sorts of combos that are eye-catching, sophisticated and appropriate for fall weddings. While foliage-inspired shades of orange, red and yellow are the most common options for this time of year, there are all sorts of other palettes to choose from. Here are a few fall wedding color combos that are sure to get lots of attention for all of the right reasons.

Dove Gray & Silver

Pairing dove gray and silver screams sophistication. This color palette is perfect for ushering in cooler weather, and it works especially well late in the fall. Shimmering silver paired with soft gray creates a subtle, monochromatic look that is absolutely magical. To add even more sparkle, consider jewelry and accessories made from silver freshwater pearls or celestial quartz. Either option would look stunning with this color combination.

Purple, Orange and Burgundy

When you want to use a traditional fall color like orange but make it more your own, consider pairing it with rich shades of purple and burgundy. This fall wedding color combo is reminiscent of a vineyard, and it’s a lovely and vibrant option. It pairs well with both rustic and modern themes and sets a unique mood.

Yellow, Beige and Cinnamon

Yellow, beige and cinnamon work well together for elegant autumn weddings. This color combination has a regal vibe that is undeniably sophisticated. It works especially well when used along with traditional wedding elements, such as formal table settings with place cards and chargers, a large tiered cake, etc. Tie the entire look together with seasonal fall flowers, like sunflowers, black-eyed Susans or mums.

Dusty Rose and Sage Green

A gorgeous fall wedding color palette doesn’t have to be complicated. Dusty rose and sage green are two simple colors that complement each other and are perfect for autumn weddings. It’s one of the more simple palettes on this list, but it’s also one of the more elegant. Sage is a neutral color that’s incredibly easy to work with, and rose shades are always associated with love and romance. Combining these two colors results in a beautiful and romantic aesthetic that is simple yet incredible. Rose quartz gemstones are the perfect choice for jewelry for brides who choose this color scheme.

Pineapple Yellow and Cardinal Red

Want to create a bold look for your fall wedding? Consider pairing vivid shades like pineapple yellow and cardinal red. This look works best if you use yellow as the primary color and red as the accent. In fact, you only need a few pops of red here and there to make a big impact. When used together, these colors are cheerful and impressive. This color palette works best for more casual, relaxed weddings. If you are going for a more formal look, you may want to choose shades that are a bit more subdued.

Maroon and Dusty Yellow

If you spend most of your summer counting down the days until the start of apple-picking season, sweater weather and pumpkin spice lattes, maroon and dusty yellow is probably the wedding color palette of your dreams. These colors are reminiscent of the changing leaves in a way that is incredibly elegant and sophisticated. If you go with this color palette, consider serving up fall favorites like caramel apples and hot cocoa at your reception. After all, a cozy color scheme like this one deserves to be topped off with a cozy reception!

Royal Blue and Yellow

This color combo has become extremely popular for fall weddings in recent years. It is perfect for casual outdoor weddings and pairs exceptionally well with sunflowers or yellow mums. The royal blue and yellow color combination is great for creating a rustic or country feel. If you want to glam it up a bit, consider replacing the yellow with gold. This simple change can transform a rustic outdoor wedding into a full-blown formal affair.

No matter what your style may be, there are all sorts of amazing color palettes to choose from when planning a fall wedding. The palettes listed above are just a few of the many eye-catching options. You can also mix and match to create your own fall wedding color combo that is as unique as you are.

Comfy Wedding Shoes: A Slip-on Saver For The Dance Floor

Ever heard the saying less is more? This is the motto of footwear company, FITKICKS! FITKICKS are ultra-light, flexible, and form-fitting shoes that may just be your slip-on saver for your wedding day or honeymoon. They come in solids and fun patterns and can be worn dancing, exercising, walking down the beach, lounging at home, or anytime, anywhere! There is also a collection for kids called FITKIDS, perfect comfy wedding shoes for your active flower girls or ring bearers. Want to learn more? Enjoy the Q&A with FITKICKS brand rep.

When did the company debut?

FITKICKS came to life in 2015 to fill a need for flexible fitness footwear that can double as foldable travel shoes. Five years prior, we came out with Sidekicks, a foldable ballet flat. We took the idea a step further with FITKICKS to include a bit of cushion, soles with grip, and a more enclosed upper for protection and ergonomic movement. During the development, we realized FITKICKS are great for water activities as well, which turned out to be an added bonus.

What are they made out of?

The upper material is spandex. The sole is PVC/BK Mesh, and the inner cushion or mid-sole is EVA.

What makes them stand out from other shoes?

Their unique look strikes people right away with our protective toe guard and signature grip strap. The cross between a water shoe, exercise footwear, and a slipper has its own appeal. That combined with bright colors and cool patterns has given them a personality of their own. There is no mistaking FITKICKS footwear. None of your guests will miss these wedding shoes! Also, what people don’t realize is that without arch support, your feet are in a more natural state. This in turn makes your feet stronger and more aligned which can bring everything else into place.

How does sizing work?

In order to accommodate as many sizes as possible, we created span sizing which means one shoe for two sizes. We started with small sizes, women sized 5.5 through 6.5, then medium; 7-8, large; 8.5- 9.5, and lastly XL; 10-11. FITKICKS offers more room for toe splay than most others to give your toes some wiggle room–literally.

What is the price?

  • Classic women’s solid colors are $19.99.
  • Women’s patterned versions are $24.99.
  • LIVE WELL collection are $24.99 due to the special interwoven material.
  • Classic men’s solid colors are $21.99
  • Men’s patterned versions are  $23.99.
  • Kids are $19.99.

Where Can I to Purchase?

Many retailers carry FITKICKS both in-store and online. Major chains such as Kohl’s and Bed Bath & Beyond. We also have a direct-to-consumer ordering site: https://fitkicks.com/

What are KoziKicks?

KOZIKICKS® are the ultimate kickback slipper with indoor/outdoor capability. They provide a snug yet breathable fit, with a fully-lined plush interior. These are not your grandma’s slippers. KOZIKICKS will keep you toasty warm with the fully-cushioned insole and breathability of the upper casing. Just a snapshot of when KOZIKICKS excel: traveling, walking, everyday errands, driving, camping, post-workout, a day at the spa, after a long day in uncomfortable wedding shoes, and more! Before Canceling, Consider If A Micro Wedding Is Right For You

COVID-19 has turned so many of our lives upside-down, from work-related changes to financial struggles. There is one part of life that doesn’t have to change, though. You can still marry the love of your life. Before canceling the big day, consider if a micro wedding, with just your spouse-to-be and a few beloved guests, is right for you.

1. Ideally, what would be your guest list size?

The idea of a micro wedding revolves around lowering your guest count to under 50 people. It brings your wedding back to an intimate celebration of your commitment surrounded with those closest to you. In larger weddings, you are splitting your time between your many guests and are lucky if you get a little more than a few words with each of them.

Micro weddings allow you to relax and spend true quality time with your smaller number of guests. Katie Horseman Photography.

2. Are you looking to lower your wedding budget?

The average cost of a wedding in the US is $33,900 — that’s some major sticker shock.

Micro weddings, on the other hand, are dramatically less expensive. By minimizing your guest list, you save money on nearly every part of the process. You and your spouse can put your money toward starting your lives together instead.

3. Would you consider non-traditional venues?

If you are searching for a Saturday evening date at a traditional wedding venue, your options will be somewhat limited. This is particularly true as 2020 brides shift their original wedding dates to the fall or into 2021. If you only need space for a few close friends or family members, on the other hand, the world is your oyster.

You’ll have your pick of romantic venues, unique locales, and beautiful backdrops.

Micro Weddings Combining Safety and Bliss

The uncertainty that comes from COVID-19 may throw us all for a loop.  Just know that as you look towards the near future, there will be options to have a wedding day you’ll love and cherish for the rest of your life.

What’s Your Money Love Language?

We all give and receive love differently. Some like to be told they are appreciated, and others like to be shown. The majority of people know the famous relationship guru, Gary Chapman, who discovered the five major love languages and how to navigate them. Oddly enough, these love languages also come into play with how you may like to spend your money.

The five categories in which the majority of people prefer to express and receive love are:

  • Acts of Service: Any action carried out to help someone else.
  • Quality Time: Setting aside time to spend together without any interruptions or distractions.
  • Physical Touch: Being physically close to reinforce your connection to one another.
  • Words of Affirmation: Verbal or written statements that ensure your love and appreciation for one another.
  • Receiving Gifts: Tangible and thoughtful proof of your love and support.

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, it is the perfect time to reveal you and your loved ones money love language to help plan this special holiday. Follow Mint’s flowchart to see how love languages may be affecting your finances.
